GreenYellow Asia supports King Power in ambitious multi-site solar project in Thailand
GreenYellow Asia is helping King Power, Thailand’s leading duty-free retailer, to implement a solar project that is fully in line with its strategy to reduce its carbon footprint and position itself as a player committed to meeting environmental challenges.
An ambitious, sustainable solar project
The multi-site project developed by GreenYellow Thailand for King Power has a total installed capacity of 6.85 MWp and covers 8 of the group’s buildings. Thanks to this network of multi-site solar installations, up to 9.9 GWh of clean energy will be generated every year. This is equivalent to the annual energy consumption of over 5,500 households in Thailand.
In addition to providing green energy, this project will help to reduce King Power’s CO2 emissions over the long term, with an estimated annual reduction of 5,000 tonnes of CO2. This initiative is a perfect illustration of King Power’s commitment to reducing its environmental footprint, while enabling the company to benefit from GreenYellow’s innovative solutions and expertise in energy transition.
