With the launch of “Watt. by RunCharge”, GreenYellow Austral is ushering in a new era in electric mobility in the Indian Ocean.
Strategic acquisition
In 2023, GreenYellow took a significant step forward by acquiring RunCharge, Reunion’s first network of electric vehicle charging stations powered via Solar Carports. This strategic acquisition enabled GreenYellow to combine its expertise in renewable energy and electric mobility, creating a “green” synergy in the region.
Acceleration of EVCS deployment
The grid-connected “Watt. by RunCharge” charging stations complement the existing RunCharge network powered by solar carports.
With this launch, GreenYellow Austral goes one step further in accelerating the deployment of Electric Vehicle Charging Systems (EVCS) on Reunion Island. By developing charging stations powered both by solar energy and the electricity grid, GreenYellow will get back to the constraints of its clients’ sites and the varied needs of users.
