GreenYellow Austral – New solar projects signed in Mauritius

GreenYellow Austral teams continue their contribution to the “greening” of Mauritius’ energy mix with new #SHIFTProduction projects. These projects illustrate GreenYellow’s commitment to promoting green energy and reducing the island’s CO2 emissions.

Innodis: Leader in agribusiness and food distribution

The Innodis Group, a leading player in Mauritius’s agro-industry and food distribution, is renewing its confidence in GreenYellow by launching several new projects:

  • 1 solar farm of 75,000 m²: This massive installation has a capacity of 7.2 MWp.
  • 4 off-site facilities: These facilities will produce a total of 11 GWh of green electricity, thus avoiding the emission of 7,000 tonnes of CO2 per year.

Cernol: Specialist in cleaning products

Cernol, an industrial company specializing in the production of cleaning products, has also chosen GreenYellow to support its energy transition:

  • 838 kWp Solar Rooftop plant: This 8,38 kWp rooftop plant will generate 1.3 GWh of solar power, saving 800 tonnes of CO2 emissions every year.

Stettler: Master cutter of sapphire crystals for luxury watches

Stettler, a company specializing in the cutting of sapphire crystals for luxury watches, has entrusted GreenYellow with the realization of a #SHIFTProduction project:

  • 322 kWp PV plant: This solar power project will produce 500 MWh, avoiding 302 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
