GreenYellow Colombia participe au Forum de l’énergie ANDEG 2024 à Barranquilla

GreenYellow Colombia is proud to announce its participation in the 11th Energy Forum ANDEG, to be held on August 15 and 16, 2024, at the Marriott Hotel in Barranquilla.

This year’s ANDEG Energy Forum will celebrate a decade of initiatives and efforts to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions in the energy sector.

A rich and varied program over two days

The Forum starts at 8:30 am on August 15. Speakers will include Luis Alberto Paéz, President of ANDEG’s Junta Directiva, Andrés Camacho, Minister of Mines and Energy, and Eduardo Verano de la Rosa, Governor of the Atlantic.

Day 1: Panel discussions and presentations

The morning will be devoted to institutional discussions on the development of the electricity sector, with a panel moderated by El Heraldo journalist Erika Fontalvo. Around the table, you’ll find personalities such as Amylkar Acosta, former Minister of Mines and Energy in Colombia, and Jose David Name, Senator of the Republic.

This will be followed by speeches from Carlos Hernán Rodríguez, Comptroller General of the Republic, and Margarita Cabello Blanco, Attorney General of the Nation, who will share their vision of the country’s energy transition.

The afternoon program will begin with a presentation by Rodrigo Moreno of the Catholic University of Chile on the challenges and prospects of modernizing the electricity market. Other speakers will address topics such as decarbonization with Ecopetrol and the role of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in energy security.

Day 2: Focus on technology and innovation

Discussions on the second day will focus on the contribution of regions to energy sustainability, with personalities such as Vicky Osorio of ProBarranquilla and Pedro Florez, Senator of the Pacto Histórico.

The morning will continue with discussions on technology and decarbonization in the energy sector, including a presentation by Herman Galán from Refinería de Cartagena. General Electric’s John Ingham will talk about technological flexibility for the energy transition, while Siemens Energy will address the subject of fuel blending and carbon reduction.

GreenYellow Colombia will present the role of its PV plants in energy diversification. The Colombian teams will highlight GreenYellow’s initiatives to promote solar energy as a key solution for a sustainable energy future.
