GreenYellow: CSR at the Heart of Our Strategy
At GreenYellow, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is at the heart of our strategy.
We are committed to promoting sustainable and educational initiatives to raise awareness of environmental issues among the younger generation. The latest example is an educational initiative on Solar photovoltaic energy organized by GreenYellow Indian Ocean.
An Educational Initiative at École du Nord – Mauritius
On June 15, 115 4ᵉ students from École du Nord, Mauritius, accompanied by their teachers, had the opportunity to visit our Solitude PV plants. The aim of this educational visit was to help them find out about the crucial role that renewable energies play in preserving the environment, and to show them how solar energy can be converted into green electricity.
During this visit, the students were able to observe the operation of a PV plants up close. They learned the basic principles of converting solar energy into electricity, and were made aware of the importance of these technologies in the fight against climate change. The students showed great enthusiasm and curiosity, asking many questions about the various stages of the process and the benefits of renewable energies.
We would like to extend our warmest thanks to École du Nord – Île Maurice for co-organizing this initiative. This partnership created an enriching experience for the students, raising their awareness of sustainable solutions to become tomorrow’s agents of change.
