GreenYellow do Brasil’s commitment to energy transition continues with the inauguration of two PV plants in the Brazilian state of São Paulo.
These solar installations will provide clean energy to SunMobi and Algar Telecom clients, helping to reduce their carbon emissions and promote a more sustainable energy future.
Positive impact on local residents
Our Brazilian teams have also organized actions that have had a positive impact on local communities near one of our power plants in the town of Américo de Campos (São Paulo State).
Sustainability awareness:
On November 29, 2023, GreenYellow do Brasil teams organized a sustainable development conference. This initiative was specially designed to raise awareness among local communities, and in particular children, to environmental challenges. With interactive sessions and engaging discussions, over 300 people were made aware of the importance of sustainability for the future of the planet.
Promoting sustainability in education:
On February 19, 2024, GreenYellow do Brasil delivered sixty sets of eco-responsible benches and tables to schools in Américo de Campos. This action aims to transform waste into reusable resources, creating learning environments conducive to student development while promoting sustainability within the educational community.
Community environmental commitment:
On February 20, 2024, GreenYellow do Brasil teams organized a “green” day, during which they planted 50 sprouts with students from local campuses. This initiative was accompanied by a short lecture on the essential role of environmental preservation in sustainable development, highlighting the importance of decarbonization in combating climate change.
