Energy storage client case study – NutriPick
Nutripick is a distributor of fresh fruit and vegetables in South Africa
Project context
Nutripick operates a cold storage warehouse and needed a solution to prevent food spoilage during load shedding periods. It is essential for them to maintain their cold rooms at specific temperatures at all times. To achieve this, a battery system was integrated into the solar system installed by GreenYellow to ensure continuous operation of their coolers during load shedding, thus preventing food spoilage while continuing efforts toward energy transition.
