Otmane HAJJI, President and Founder of GreenYellow
Otmane HAJJI, born January 24, 1981 in Oujda, Morocco, is President of GreenYellow.
Engineer in electromechanics, industrial engineering and project management, Otmane HAJJI is a former student of the Ecole Polytechnique de Bruxelles and Ecole Centrale Paris.
He began his career with the Renault group in 2005, as a consultant for the Environmental Planning Department, then the Product Planning Department. There, he deployed an environmental management system and contributed to the global vision of environmental issues in the automotive sector.
In 2006, he joined the Casino Group’s Real Estate Development Department, where he took on the role of Deputy Director, and discovered the untapped potential of the rooftops and parking lots of the group’s stores.

A year after his arrival, and accompanied by Philippe HOUINS, they both created GreenYellow : an innovative company designed to make the most of the retailer’s unused surfaces by producing local photovoltaic solar energy.
By expanding its client portfolio beyond the Casino Group, GreenYellow grew rapidly, both in terms of offers — with, in addition to decentralized photovoltaic solar, energy efficiency programs, electrification of uses, and energy storage and flexibility & management solutions — and in terms of international presence, with the company now operating across the four corners of the globe.
On October 18, 2022, Otmane HAJJI, accompanied by members of the GreenYellow Group’s Executive Committee , finalized the entry of Ardian, a pioneer investor in renewable energies, into the capital of GreenYellow
Otmane Hajji’s vision for GreenYellow is simple: Become the premium energy partner for C&I companies and local authorities, accelerating their energy transition through decarbonization, electrification of uses, and energy flexibility.
By 2030, GreenYellow aims to cover 50% of its C&I clients’ electricity bills through intelligent energy management, combining energy efficiency, electrification, solar, storage, and EMS.
