Rexel and GreenYellow announce commercial partnership to accelerate corporate energy transition

Rexel, world leader in the professional distribution of products and services for the energy sector, and GreenYellow, an international player in decentralized energy transition, announce the signature of a commercial partnership. A unique combination of expertise and resources will be offered to industrial and commercial clients, providing complete, financed energy solutions to meet growing energy transition needs.

GreenYellow and Rexel, two major players in the world of energy, are joining forces to offer their clients integrated, turnkey, tailor-made energy solutions. These comprehensive offers include: equipment and technological systems adapted to the client’s needs, financing, installation and operation of these systems; all backed up by personalized advice and guaranteed performance commitments.

Whether installing and operating photovoltaic power plants, energy efficiency solutions[1], or electric vehicle charging systems (EVCS), GreenYellow will contribute its technical, operational and financial expertise, while Rexel will make available its sales force dedicated to industrial and commercial users, as well as its engineering departments specialized in energy efficiency and electrification. The latter will also contribute its logistical power and in-depth knowledge of the local ecosystem through its installer partners, guaranteeing rapid and efficient project implementation.

The collaboration will begin in December, with the launch of the first solar carport project for a well-known logistics specialist. In all, the two partners aim to work together on no fewer than fifty projects a year.

Otmane HAJJI, GreenYellow’s CEO, states: ” This partnership with Rexel is in line with our partnership strategy for growth. By combining our respective areas of expertise, we can offer clients in the commercial and industrial sectors an integrated, scalable range of third-party-financed products and services for green energy production and energy management, accelerating their energy transition.”

Thomas MOREAU, Rexel’s France and Italy CEO, adds: “This partnership is perfectly in line with Rexel’s development strategy. We are delighted to be working with GreenYellow to develop a unique value proposition in common markets, and to benefit from numerous commercial synergies. This approach will enable our clients to maximize their energy savings in a constrained context.”
